Partnerships

Well before we created Liam & Jeila, my sister Jeila and I knew that we wanted to use our art to be a catalyst for positive change. But for the longest time we didn't know exactly how or in what way. Then, two years before we launched, we saw a documentary about African children with Albinism and their heartbreaking struggle with discrimination, rejection, and their inability in certain areas to get basic necessities such as sunscreen. Jeila and I were so moved by this documentary that we thought "these children are in need of angels to ease their struggle." And that's how we came up with the motto of our brand: "Angels wear Liam and Jeila". We decided we wanted our customers to be a part of our mission. We have decided to partner with Under the Same Sun, an organization dedicated to making sure these children with albinism have the same opportunities for health, safety, gainful employment and personal fulfillment as everybody else. Liam & Jeila will donate a portion of the proceeds from your purchase to this organization in the hopes that we can together make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
